Elon Musk has shared a video of a SpaceX capsule crew meeting with astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams who will return to Earth after being stranded in space for more than nine months. A SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule successfully docked with the International Space Station early Sunday morning.
“SpaceX Dragon ship arrives at the Space Station,” Musk, who is the founder of SpaceX, said in a post on X.
The docking occurred at 4:04 AM GMT on Sunday, approximately 29 hours after the capsule launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday evening.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk earlier shared spectacular footage of the docking on social media, showing the spacecraft approaching the ISS against the stunning backdrop of Earth.
“SpaceX Dragon docks with Space Station," Musk wrote in his post on X, which has garnered over over 42 million views.
Wilmore and Williams were originally scheduled for just an eight-day mission but were forced to remain aboard the ISS for over nine months due to technical issues with Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which transported them to the station.
“Butch and Suni have done a great job and we are excited to bring them home,” said Steve Stich, manager of NASA's commercial crew programme. The pair are scheduled to begin their journey back to Earth on Wednesday (March 19).
According to BBC, they will return alongside American astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, who arrived at the ISS in September aboard a Crew Dragon spacecraft. That vehicle had two vacant seats specifically reserved for Wilmore and Williams and has remained docked to the station since their arrival.
