Samsung Galaxy F16 5G launched with MediaTek processor and 5000mAh battery; price starts at Rs 11,499

has expanded its F-series smartphone range in India with the launch of Galaxy F16. The handset features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor built on a 6nm process. The device comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1.5TB via a microSD card. Samsung Galaxy F16 5G will be available from March 13 onwards.

Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor with autofocus, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens for capturing a broader field of view, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. On the front, it houses a 13MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, catering to selfies and video calls.
The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, offering a refresh rate of 90Hz and 1,080 x 2,340 pixel resolution. The Galaxy F16 5G runs on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 and is set to receive six major OS updates and six years of security patches, ensuring long-term software support. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support via a USB Type-C port. The phone also features bottom-ported speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
Samsung has included a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, along with support for 5G connectivity, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is priced at Rs 11,499, including all applicable bank offers, for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will be available for purchase starting March 13 at 12 PM through retail stores, Samsung.com, and leading online platforms.
The smartphone is offered in three color options: Bling Black, Vibing Blue, and Glam Green.
