Taylor Swift’s best friend Blake Lively finds herself in deeper trouble as she is hit with new claims in Justin Baldoni legal drama as the pop star stays silent

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were considered to be the closest friends at one point. But since December 2024, there have been various reports of a break up between the two ever since Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni sued her and Taylor Swift found herself mentioned in the lawsuit. While Taylor Swift remains silent about the controversy, things have just gotten worse for Blake Lively.


Back on Sunday, It Ends With Us’ storyboard artist Talia Spencer appeared on 60 Minutes Australia and made things worse for the Hollywood actress.
The storyboard artist spoke highly of Justin Baldoni and said, “very hard to believe the allegations against him, considering his mission statement about the film. And him, genuinely, pitching that he was doing this film to help young women.”
Talia Spencer added, “I just find it hard to believe the allegations, to be honest” and also reiterated that she felt comfortable working alongside him.
But Talia Spencer did not stop there; she accused Taylor Swift’s best friend, Blake Lively of “taking advantage”.
Talia Spencer said, “I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power.”
Blake Lively has not reacted to these bold statements made by someone who was working with both her and Justin Baldoni on the blockbuster movie It Ends With Us.


Since the controversy broke out, the billionaire pop star, Taylor Swift has maintained a safe distance from Blake Lively. She never made any statements to defend her best friend and when Justin Baldoni sued Blake Lively, there were reports of cracks forming in Taylor’s friendship with the actress.
Last year at the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift was spotted hugging Blake Lively as they cheered on Travis Kelce together. This year, it was a completely different story. There was no sign of Blake Lively nor her husband, Ryan Reynolds at the stadium.
Taylor Swift was joined by her other friend, Ice Spice, as she never acknowledged the absence of Blake Lively.
But recently, there were reports of things going back to normal between the two. As per NewsNation, a source had revealed that Blake Lively had apologised to Taylor Swift and they are speaking to each other again.
But neither Taylor Swift nor Blake Lively have confirmed these speculations or have been spotted together.
For the unversed, Blake Lively had accused her co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment. Justin Baldoni counter sued Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and accused her of taking control of their movie and “using” Taylor Swift for it.
The high profile legal drama will go on trial in 2026. For now, Taylor Swift has not spoken about it in public and is maintaining a safe distance from both Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds as they navigate through this drama. Fans remain divided on this as many have slammed Blake Lively for involving Taylor Swift while others have trolled the pop sensation for getting involved in the movie.
