Earlier, Sri Lanka A had gotten the better of Pakistan A by 7 wickets.Batting first, Afghanistan A powered themselves to a massive 206 runs after a 137 run opening wicket stand between Zubaid Akbari and Sediqullah Atal. Later, Karim Janat played a cameo role with a 20-ball 41 runs and Afghanistan A more or less put the game beyond India A's reach with the superlative show. Rasikh Salam took three wickets for India A.In reply, India A lost wickets early and were always working against the scorecard. Ayush Badoni's 31 tried to give some boost but when he fell, India A's chances dropped signifantly.
