Ram Charan-Boyapati Srinu’s upcoming film is slated for a Pongal release

Ram Charan’s upcoming yet-to-be-titled commercial actioner, was planned to be released on the occasion of this Dussehra. The film which has Ram Charan and Kiara Advani essaying the lead roles is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The film marks his first collaboration with Ram Charan.
However, now the film has been confirmed for a Pongal release and will get maximum screens, the makers announced it on their Twitter handle.It reads, “We are delighted to announce that our upcoming film with Mega Power star Ram Charan & Boyapati Srinu's #RC12 will hit cinemas for Sankranthi 2019. #RC12ForSankranthi2019”.
Set in the backdrop of Visakhapatnam, the film is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. Busy in the filming stage, the movie has a villain Vivek Oberoi while Prashanth, Naveen Chandra, Aryan Rajesh, Ramya Krishnan and Sneha will be seen in key roles. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad. It is said that there will be a remix song of ‘Chik Chik Chelam’ from Chiru’s film ‘Gang Leader’.
