Nag Ashwin expresses excitement for Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra', Says, 'Can't Wait'

Alia Bhatt, one of Indian cinema's most celebrated stars in the Indian film industry, was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', she now is gearing up for her next film 'Jigra', an action-packed thriller. The trailer for the film was recently released, drawing attention across the industry. Among those praising the trailer was 'Kalki 2898 AD' director Nag Ashwin.Taking to Instagram, Ashwin shared the trailer, expressing his excitement and anticipation for the film.
On the social media network, the director wrote, "hit this out of the park...can't wait".

The story revolves around Alia's character as she fights against all odds to become the hero her brother needs. The teaser also features supporting actors Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran, who assist her in her daring quest.
The trailer of 'Jigra', runs for 2 minutes and 47 seconds, and opens with a rendition of the song "Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka." In a gripping sequence, we see a bloodied and determined Alia Bhatt taking on her adversaries to save her on-screen brother, played by Vedang Raina, who is imprisoned in a foreign jail.

Nag Ashwin, known for his blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD', which became one of India's highest-grossing films, couldn’t contain his admiration for Alia’s performance. Ashwin’s sci-fi epic, featuring big names like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan has been a massive success.
Alia is seen giving a fierce performance, with the film filled with intense and emotional storyline. Vedang Raina, who plays her brother in the film, The movie also includes Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa, and Rahul Ravindran.
