A few superhit Tamil movies of Vishnu Vishal have been remade in Telugu in the past and they were super hits here, Later he started appearing in bilingual films such as ‘Aranya’ and now he started dubbing his films into Telugu such as 'FIR' and now 'Matti Kusti'.
The film is written and directed by Chella Ayyavu with Aishwarya Lekshmi as the film's female lead. Tollywood actor Ravi Teja is presenting this film in Telugu.The makers were very confident about the film’s success in the movie promotions and with its promotional material. The movie songs composed by Justin Prabhakaran were impressive. The film is said to have been shot extensively in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Gajaraj, Karunas, Sreeja Ravi, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Red Kingsley and Hareesh Peradi are playing other important roles in the film. The film's cinematography is handled by Richard M.Nathan and the film is edited by Prasanna GK.
The film is carrying a decent buzz for its entertaining scenes while criticized for its predictable plot and climax. However, the narration of its storyline and performances by both the lead pair are said to be impressive.
