Akhil Akkineni requests fans to stay home and not indulge in any celebrations on his birthday (VIDEO)

Along with Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Akhil Akkineni is also celebrating his birthday on Wednesday (March 8). Introduced to Telugu cinema as the grandson of ANR and son of Nagarjuna, the third generation hero from the prestigious Akkineni family made his protagonist debut with ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ in 2015. Post the successive debacles of ‘Hello’ and ‘Mr Majnu’, he has pinned all hopes on his upcoming film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’.
Despite having only three films under his belt, Akhil commands a solid following in the Telugu states especially among the youth. Meanwhile, amid the outbreak of coronavirus and the prevailing lockdown in the country, the talented actor has requested his fans to stay at home and not indulge in any celebrations on his birthday.
In a special video message on his social handle, Akhil said “I hope everyone is in good health. Tomorrow is my birthday and usually, fans tend to celebrate big by indulging in cake-cutting and other celebrations. However, amid these unfortunate times, I sincerely request all my fans to stay at home and be safe.”
“Also, no poster or teaser of my upcoming film will be unveiled tomorrow and it’s my personal decision. Please stay with your family in these hard times and be strong,” added the handsome hunk.
The Akkineni hero promised to share a special picture with his family tomorrow and also requested his fans to do the same and post on social media. On the work front, the shooting of Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor is on the verge of completion. Starring Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, the romantic-drama is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar who is making a comeback to Telugu cinema after seven years. Bankrolled by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma under GA 2 Pictures, the music of the film is composed by Gopi Sunder and the cinematography is handled by Pradeesh Varma.
