Actress Shalu Chourasiya attacked at KBR Park; police give us details

Tollywood actress Shalu Chourasiya was attacked by an unknown assailant on Sunday night at KBR Park in Hyderabad.
The suspect allegedly stole a mobile phone apart from other personal belongings from the actress who sustained minor injuries in the incident. She filed a complaint with the police and is currently getting treated at a private hospital in the city. The extent of her injuries is unknown at the time of writing apart from usage of weapons.The police have launched an official investigation and an FIR has been filed for the same.
Talking to Hyderabad Times, Banjara Hills SI P Shiva Chandra said, “The actress said that she was attacked at around 11 PM on Sunday night by an unidentified person. The suspect threatened her to give him money and her personal belongings. When she refused, he snatched her mobile and other belongings by force. A case has been filed under IPC 392 for committing robbery and we are investigating. The accused is yet to be identified and arrested.”
Shalu is known for acting in films like O Pilla Nee Valla and Bhagya Nagara Veedullo Gammatthu. Further details of the on-going case are awaited.
