First single from Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh’s Ka Pae Ranasingam is out

First single from Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Ka Pae Ranasingam’, 'Alagiya Sirukki', has been released. This song by Ghibran is an upbeat number and has used percussion instruments quite well. The number is sung by Gold Devaraj and its lyrics by Vairamuthu. The film has Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles. Recently, the makers of the film clarified that they would go for theatrical release and put an end to rumours that were doing the rounds that the film would be released on OTT platform.The films is said to be about the character that Vijay Sethupathi plays, fighting an important issue in the society.
The teaser of the film, which is directed by P Virumandi and produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh under the banner KJR Studios, was released in May this year, after its first look poster was made public. The teaser of the film gives glimpses of the storyline which is said to be touching up on issues regarding land grabbing by industries and the fate of farmers in villages. The less-than-two-minute teaser has voice over by Vijay Sethupathi, saying at one point the world politics will revolve around water and air after all that is happening around caste and religion. The film also has actors like Rangaraj Pandey, Yogi Babu, Vela Ramamoorthy, Samuthirakani and Poo Ram playing significant roles.
Another big upcoming film of Vijay Sethupathi is Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Master’, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film which also features Malavika Mohanan, Andrea and Shanthnu in prominent roles has its music Anirudh.
