Arvindh Srinivasan, who made his debut with Dejavu, has kick-started his next film, titled Tharunam, which features Kishen Das (of Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee fame) and
Smruthi Venkat in the lead roles. The film, which will go on floors on June 12, will be released in four languages — Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada!
Arvindh says, “It’s a romantic film that’s based on certain moments in life — tharunam — that could change many things.
It’s about how the lives of two youngsters, from different walks of life, and the changes that happen once they meet.”
While Kishen Das will be seen playing the role of the son of an industrialist, Smruthi Venkatplays an IT professional. “The shoot of the film will happen in Chennai and Kodaikanal. We have also planned to shoot the same sequences in different cities so that we add regional flavour to the four versions of the film,” says Arvindh.
The music of the film will be composed by Darbuka Siva.
