Karthik to play Udhayanidhi Stalin’s dad in his next?

Last seen in ‘Nimir’, the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’, Udhayanidhi Stalin is certainly on a roll with back-to-back films. The ‘Manidhan’ actor will be teaming up with director Enoc Able for an upcoming Tamil film.
As per latest reports, veteran actor Karthik Muthuraman is likely to be seen as Udhayanidhi’s dad in the film. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.Notably, Karthik has been getting a lot of offers ever since he made a comeback with ‘Anegan’. The actor was last seen as a CBI officer in Suriya’s ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’ earlier this year.
The film will start rolling once the strike in the industry comes to an end. According to reports, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Indhuja of ‘Meyaadha Maan’ fame have been finalised as the leading ladies.
Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi also has a project with director Seenu Ramasamy titled ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’, which stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. The first look of ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ was unveiled recently and the film is likely to release this summer.
