The action-packed entertainer, which opened to largely positive reviews, has managed to sustain strong collections. As per the latest update from Sacnilk.com, the film has now minted a whopping Rs 194 crore worldwide, adding another Rs 5 crore on its eighth day.
Becomes highest-grossing Tamil film of the year
In India, 'Good Bad Ugly' has earned Rs 113.85 crore net and Rs 134 crore gross in the first seven days. With the additional collection from Day 8, the film's total domestic and international earnings now stand at ₹194 crore globally. It has officially surpassed the lifetime collection of Ram Charan’s Game Changer (₹186.25 crore), cementing its position as the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year so far. The next targets in its sights are Sankranthiki Vasthunam (₹255.2 crore) and L2: Empuraan (₹264 crore).
Occupancy drops slightly in the second week
The film recorded a 20% occupancy in Indian theatres on Thursday and saw a major drop on the first day of its second week. Marketed as an action entertainer ahead of its April 10 release, 'Good Bad Ugly' has successfully lived up to the hype, maintaining momentum and pulling audiences even into its second week.

In the film Ajith as AK is also known as "The Red Dragon," a feared Mumbai gangster who surrenders to the police in 2007 to leave his violent past behind and live peacefully with his wife Ramya and son Vihaan. After spending 18 years in prison, AK is released with the hope of reuniting with his family, who now live in Spain. However, his plans are disrupted when Vihaan is wrongfully arrested on drug charges linked to a mysterious shooting incident.
