Fourteen debutants set to enter Punjab

If this was going to be Karanvir Bohra's debut vehicle into Punjabi films, he ensured he ain't doing it alone. With his debut in his home production, 'Love You Soniye', Karanvir has taken along a whole brigade of Hindi actors, musicians into Punjabi films for the first time.
All set to begin shooting their Punjab schedule soon, Karanvir along with wife Teejay, are happy to tell you about all the first timers they have roped in for this venture. The film, directed by SahilKohli, has Raghu Ram (of Roadies fame), HitenPaintal (veteran character actor Paintal's son), ShivinderMahal, VinduDara Singh and Upasana Singh, making their Punjabi debut. Even singer Rishi Rich's wife Manrina is making her debut.
Besides the acting frat, the film is also flaunting a host of luminaries from the music industry, foraying into the Punjabi celluloid world. "With this film, its Longines Fernandes (of Jai Ho! fame) and Salman's first time into choreographing for a Punjabi sequence. Besides them, there is also a set of musicians like Rishi Rich, Juggy D, Harry Anand who are debuting into Punjabi films' music," says an excited Karanvir. Making music attractive, the film has also roped in singers like Ishq Bector and lyricist like Kumaar to lend that, "Very unlikely Punjabi music, sprinkled with a Bollywood tadka", as Karanvir says, adding "While the essence is Punjabi, the music is still very new age."
With this, the film brags of 14 debutants in Punjabi, a fact that has Teejay gushing with excitement, since besides this being her Punjabi film debut too, Teejay is also a sardarni and happy about such a huge number of Bollywood people entering Punjab.
