Sonali to portray Geeta Dutt

Actress Sonali Kulkarni is known for her versatility and prowess as an actor.
She enthralled viewers with her performances in movies like Deool, Doghi and Devrai. The actress who is currently riding high on the success of her Marathi play ‘White Lily Aani Night Rider’ with Milind Pathak, is all set to stage the inaugural show of her Hindi play 'Gardish Mein Taare’.In the play which is inspired by the much celebrated love story of Bollywood couple Guru Dutt and Geeta Dutt, Sonali will be seen in a la Geeta Dutt avatar. The play is directed by Saif Haider Hassan and features actor Arif Zakaria along with Sonali. The play is a love story inspired by the much talked saga of Bollywood's famous director Guru Dutt and popular singer Geeta Dutt's troubled marriage.
The inaugural show of the play will be staged on January 26 at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai.
