Bhimsen Joshi's son Anand to act in a Marathi film

Legendary classical vocalist Bhimsen Joshi���������s son Anand will be debuting in the Marathi film 'Sanjparva' as an actor. Anand will be seen playing himself in the film.
Written-directed by Dhananjay Kulkarni, the film is based on a real life incident and comments on societal repercussions caused due to issues faced by senior citizens belonging to the middle class.
Anand has also composed music and has sung the only song in the film. Other cast includes senior actors Arun Nalawade, Jyoti Chandekar and Uday Sabnis. The film has already been screened at Kolhapur, Delhi and at the Asian Film Festival in Mumbai.
