Ormayil Oru Shishiram, the fourth movie from Maqtro Pictures set for an August 2 release, talks about first love, friendship, family and the pursuit of dreams. “Our first three movies, C/O Saira Banu, Sunday Holiday and BTech were accepted by critics and at the box office alike. As a production house, our responsibility to society increases with every release.
We are careful to choose stories that are relevant and relatable. Ormayil Oru Shishiram is one such offering,” says Sheen Helen of Maqtro Pictures.
The movie revolves around Nithin and Varsha and talks about the love that they nurture in their hearts. “Nithin falls in love with Varsha in school. We thought it apt to talk about love at a time when we often get news of jilted lovers taking to violence,” she added.
“Budding love is a universal theme and everybody can relate to the same. Our script has addressed telling such a story in a way that will be accepted. Our challenge was to bring in the freshness that one always attaches to first love. I am glad that the team led by Vivek Aryan has done complete justice to the movie. The movie has a huge cast, which includes
Deepak Parambol, Anaswara, Eldho Mathew, Basil Joseph, Sam Sibin, Asokan, Alancier and others,” she added.
Ormayil Oru Shishiram develops through a narrative that links the present and past, invokes friendships that remain at times of crises, and family ties that remain strong through all the trials life throws up. The songs released online are already popular. “Maqtro has always delivered for audiences. We want our latest offering to invoke the innermost feelings of every person who watches the movie and are sure that with a superior product like this, it is going to be an enjoyable investment of time,” concludes Helen.
