Comedy-drama Kakshi Amminipillai to release on June 28

Asif Ali-starrer Kakshi Amminipilla is scheduled for a June 28 release. The actor plays a lawyer in the comedy drama set in Thalassery. His client is Shajith Kumar Amminipilla, played by Ahmed Sidhique, who is seeking a divorce. Advocate Pradeepan Manjodi's priority is a political seat and takes on the case reluctantly, but seems to find a loophole that he feels will be “sensational”.
The film, directed by debtant Dinjith Ayyathan, with the screenplay by Sanilesh Shivan, has also been noticed for the plus-size character played by Fara Shibla. Actor Sunny Wayne will release the lyrical video of the film’s Aval song today at 6 pm to mark World Music Day.
