Siddhant Chaturvedi's Yudhra to get more screens than Phone Bhoot

Siddhant Chaturvedi stars in the action film Yudhra, releasing on 20th September. The movie features Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal and benefits from National Cinema Day's Rs 99 ticket pricing. Yudhra will be screened in about 1750 theaters, facing competition from Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and Tumbbad at the box office.

Siddhant Chaturvedi made a powerful entry in films with the role of MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. Since then, he has worked with some of the biggest production houses, dishing out entertainers like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Phone Bhoot and Gehraiyaan.

The actor is now all set to don the action avatar with his upcoming film Yudhra. This entertainer was announced in 2021 but due to Covid, Yudhra didn't go on floors for the longest time.

The film is slated to release on 20th September and it coincides with National Cinema Day wherein tickets are priced at just Rs 99.
The actioner with Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal in the lead, will be getting a lot of advantage because of low ticket prices and our sources reveal that the film will release in close to 1750 screens. Interestingly, Siddhant's last theatrical release, Phone Bhoot with Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khattar, released in about 1450 screens. According to Pinkvilla, the film till 2 PM in the afternoon today, had sold about 60000 tickets. In the coming days, Yudhra is expected to sell at least over 1 lakh tickets and kickstart the film with an opening of Rs 2 crore.

The film will be facing heat from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao led Stree 2 and Sohum Shah and Rahi Ail Barve’s re-released film Tumbbad, which has been performing very well at the box office. Yudhra marks the Hindi film debut of Malavika Mohanan and will see Raghav Juyal as the negative lead one more time, after Kill. The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar who last directed Sridevi starrer Mom.
