Shruti Ramakrishna is Sonu Gowda

Actress Sonu Gowda, who made her debut in Kannada with Inthi Ninna Preethiya opposite Srinagara Kitty in 2008, is originally known as Shruti Ramakrishna. While she still goes by her original name Shruti in Tamil films, ever since she made her debut in Sivappu Mazhai in 2010, she prefers Sonu in Kannada.
"My debut film director introduced me as Sonu. Since there was already a Shruti in Sandalwood, I didn't mind Sonu.Ever since I was christened Sonu, it became my pet name at home as well," she informs.
