This is one of my favourite places to perform: Singer Javed Ali in Lucknow

Lucknowites witnessed a rocking musical night with the live Sufi performance by 'Jashn-e-Bahara' singer Javed Ali at Lucknow Mahotsava on Thursday night. Expressing his happiness at performing live in Lucknow, the singer said, "It gives me extreme happiness to perform in Lucknow. Every time I come here to perform, I feel a sense of excitement. This is one of my favourite places to perform." The singer rendered out songs like 'Kun Faya Kun', 'Chhaap Tilak', 'Jashn-e-Bahara' and 'Maula Maula', among others.The audience, especially the ‘back benchers’ were seen singing out loud with the singer and a few were also spotted dancing to his music.

Followed by this was the performance by International Solitaire Band, who have performed in countries like Germany, Ukraine and Italy, to perform here. The international band played old and new Bollywood instrumental songs which had people crooning with them. They played songs like 'Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye', 'Bom Diggy', 'Ik Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai'.
