Zaid Khan, Sonal Monteiro ooze romance in 'Banaras': Motion poster out

Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro will be seen in the upcoming film 'Banaras'. They both look magical in the poster from their upcoming film. With its picturesque locations like ghats, temples, river Ganga, and boat rides--the poster beautifully presents Banaras. Zaid and Sonal are looking stunning in their ivory-gold costumes, that mingle with the warm colours of the poster. The film is being helmed by Jayathirtha, and will be released in five different languages: Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.This is the first-of-its-kind debut film that will be released in five different languages.
'Banaras' is a mysterious love story that explains the beauty, rich heritage, and culture of Banaras.
Debut actor Zaid Khan stated that he is very excited with the story of the film. "Along with the story, the poster is intriguing. The character will remain close to my heart and most importantly the director has beautifully showcased the heritage city, Banaras. I got this opportunity to explore this beautiful and ancient city".
Director Jayathirtha quoted, "'Banaras' is a soulful film, where, along with Zaid and Sonal, Banaras, as a city, will be the protagonist. This will be first time that any film is released in five different languages. Set against the backdrop of Banaras, it is a romantic film in which the audience will definitely connect with the characters. I hope the essence of Banaras will be touched by all movie lovers.
Produced under NK Productions house, 'Banaras' is produced by Tilakraj Ballal, co-produced by Muzammil Ahmad Khan, story, screenplay and directed by Jayathirtha. B Ajaneesh Loknath has given the music, cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurty and choreography by Jayathirtha and A Harsh. Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro are the protagonists. Sujay Shastry, Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar and Barkath Ali are in various roles. The film is shot at various locations of Varanasi and is all set to hit the theatres in 2022.
