He says, “The absence was intentional. I need a reason and motivation to make a movie. And, here I am launching my son in my next film. I’ve been associated with many superstars (Amitji, Sunny, Akshay) and I know Shiv has it in him to make it. I feel doubly sure about my own feelings on Shiv because a top filmmaker dropped by my house the other day and even he showed interest in working with my son.”
Shiv had enrolled in acting and dancing schools in New York. And this youngster also has the hands-on experience of watching his filmmaker father on the set. “Though I have not assisted anybody, I have sound knowledge of filmmaking and that has helped me as an actor. I’m passionate about cinema and feel privileged to be a part of the film industry,” he says.
Shooting of Karle Pyar Karle, produced by Shree Krishna International, started on February 10.
