We are at the close of 2021, with the New Year's Eve on most people's minds. Bollywood actor Sharib Hashmi may just be home. He shares: "There are no plans to go anywhere as of now. I’ll probably be home with family. Bahar ke shor se ghar ka sukoon behtar hai ☺️."
The year 2021 has been a memorable year for him. With 2022 around the corner, we ask him to look back and share what his biggest lessons and blessings are.

The actor sounds a note of gratitude and elaborates, "I would say that 2021 has been the best year of my life, professionally speaking! The love I received for my show was unbelievable; it was no less than a blessing for me❤️ ❤️. I think my biggest lesson is perseverance does pay in the long run."
'I might be doing a lot of work-travel next year'
Most people will make their list of to-dos for the upcoming year and Sharib has his plans firmly in place. Having done roles in films like ‘Slumdog Millionaire', ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and OTT platforms, he says, "I'm looking forward to a lot in 2022. After a long time, I’m starting a hardcore independent film and that too, with one of my most favourite actors, Kumud Mishra ji. I can’t wait to start filming for it." He also loves travelling and that will be part of it. He adds, "I would like to go with the flow. But if the Covid situation remains in control, I have a few film offers which will be shot abroad. So yes right it looks like I might be doing a lot of travel next year."
And, any role he would love to do, we ask? "I wish get to play a lawyer. Somebody like Saul Goodman (the famous fictional character who appears in the television series by the same name)," reveals Sharib.
