Naseeruddin’s sporting spirit

He is giving the youngsters a run for their money, and we aren’t just talking about acting skills here. It sure seems like the Olympic fever has caught Naseeruddin Shah, who’s become quite the sportsman on the sets of John Day.
Whenever there’s a break, the veteran actor can be seen playing football or challenging members of the crew to a game of tennis. And from the looks of it, he is no amateur.We learnt that no one is able to measure up to Naseer’s energy and stamina.
Anjum Rizvi, who earlier produced A Wednesday, and K Asif are the producers of John Day, which is the directorial debut of Solomon Aishore.
The film is an edge-of-the-seat drama which stars Randeep Hooda, Shernaz Patel, Vipin Sharma and Sharat Saxena along with Naseer.
