'Maine Pyar Kiya' actress Bhagyashree recently suffered a deep forehead injury while playing pickleball. The wound was severe, requiring surgery and 13 stitches.
She shared photos from the hospital on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into her recovery. One image shows her lying on a hospital bed receiving treatment, while another captures her smiling despite a bandaged forehead.
Fans have flooded the comments with wishes for her speedy recovery. User mentioned, "Ouch! Get well soon", many others have shared heart emojis.
The actress gained fame with her Bollywood debut in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) opposite Salman Khan. The film was a massive success, making her a household name. However, she stepped away from mainstream cinema after marriage, appearing in select films over the years.
Despite her hiatus, she made a strong comeback with projects like Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivii (2021), where she portrayed J. Professionally, beyond acting, Bhagyashree is a well-known advocate for health and wellness, frequently sharing fitness tips. Also, she left the film industry at the peak of her career, surprising many by marrying her childhood sweetheart, Himalaya Dassani.
The couple share two children, Abhimanyu Dassani, who has made a mark in Bollywood with films like Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and Nikamma, and Avantika Dassani, who is gradually making her presence felt in the industry.
