Babil Khan recently opened up about his experience of working with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and revisited some childhood memories involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan. Babil has an unreleased film, The Umesh Chronicles, with Bachchan, and he fondly recalled his time with the veteran actor.
In a conversation with The Lallantop, Babil was asked if he had any tips for Amitabh Bachchan to help him cross the 50 million follower mark on social media. Responding with humility, he said he wouldn't presume to advise someone of Bachchan’s stature. Instead, he expressed deep admiration for the way the legendary actor conducts himself. He shared that he would like to receive advice from Bachchan, as the actor’s humility—even during setbacks—is inspiring to him.
“He’s the prime example of how a person can grow out of pain and misery. The way he just puts his head down and gets to work… I’ve actually done a film with him; it hasn’t been released yet,” Babil shared.
He added that the moments spent with Bachchan on set, even if brief, left a lasting impact on him. Describing the atmosphere, he said the senior actor would arrive in a helicopter, drawing large crowds, yet remained grounded through it all.
“He would come to set in a helicopter; there would be hordes of people there just to catch a glimpse of him. But through all that noise, you see a human being. It’s a huge thing,” he added.

The son of the late actor Irrfan Khan also spoke about how his parents ensured he had a regular upbringing despite their celebrity status. He recalled visiting the set of Billu Barber, where Shah Rukh Khan had a cameo.
While Babil mentioned he isn’t particularly close with many from the film industry, he shared memories of playing football with Aryan Khan during childhood.

“I wish I get to meet (Shah Rukh) again. But I would hang out with Aryan. We played football together as kids. He’s a very, very brave person. He’s a strong person, a mature person, a wise person,” he shared.
Aryan Khan is currently preparing for his directorial debut.
Babil is currently seen in Logout.
