Love brings along with it a fair share of complexities. You usually have to choose between your family and the person you wish to spend the rest of your life with. The upcoming romcom, 'Love Shagun', depicts this conflict.
Why 'Love Shagun' director Saandesh Nayak plays an astrologer in the film
The film is about JD (Anuj Sachdeva), a small-town guy, who comes to Mumbai.He is caught between his mother, who is pressurising him to get married and the astrological predictions that state he has to divorce a girl first before he can enjoy marital bliss.

With the help of his three friends, he comes across Tia (Nidhi Subbaiah) and believes he has found the right person to divorce as they are complete opposites. However, JD realises that Tia has her own set of values. Whether he leaves her or destiny takes another course, forms the crux of the film.
Director Saandesh Nayak says, 'It's a tough task to strike a balance between family pressures and modern-day demands. This problem is common among the youth of small cities. I have closely seen people who are caught in such situations. Our film is based on this conflict and how friends play an important part in a person's life.' Love Shagun, presented by Saanvi Nayak films, releases on February 26.
