Ridley Scott confirms working on 'Prometheus 2'

Director Ridley Scott has confirmed that the sequel to 2012's 'Prometheus' is his next project, saying that he has already started to look for locations.

Scott was with Matt Damon in an interview and opened up about the challenge they had in working on upcoming movieThe Martian.

According to Damon, the typically fast-working Scott could tackle it well.Scott was quick to agree and said, "I was already on to my next movie! I was starting to look for locations for my next movie, which is Prometheus 2."
The movie may head into production sooner than it was expected as it is rumoured to start filming in January 2016.
There were also rumblings that Neill Blomkamp's untitled new Alien movie, in which Scott is attached to produce, has been pushed back so that Scott can work on Prometheus 2 first.

Prometheus 2 is speculated to hit theaters in 2017 with the fifth Alien movie following in 2018 or later.
