Haranath Chakraborty on working with Ranjit Mallick

Haranath Chakraborty is all set for his next, a yet-untitled thriller. Ranjit Mallick will be playing the protagonist, a police officer who unveils the mystery of a haunted house in Kalimpong.
“Ranjit Mallick is playing a key role in this film. He is at the center of the story and I can assure you this character is one of most important ones in his career. Parno Mittra and Ritwick Chakraborty are the other two leads.They will be seen as husband-wife. How can I make a film without Ranjit? We have been close friends for years,” said Haranath.
Along with the seasoned actor, the thriller will see Ritwick Chakraborty and Parno Mittra in key roles. Ritwick and Parno play a couple who experiences strange things while staying in a haunted house in a hill station. Ritwick plays a screenplay writer and Parno is a teacher. The teacher’s mysterious death during their stay in the hill station adds twist in the narrative. Surinder Films will bankroll the project.
"I have never worked in a thriller before. That's why I chose to be a part of this film," revealed an excited Ranjit Mallick.
