KTET 2024 Notification: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the official notification for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for the April 2024 cycle. This paves the way for candidates seeking to teach in Kerala schools to showcase their qualifications.
The application window opens on April 17th, 2024, and closes on April 26th, 2024. The entire application process will be conducted online on the official KTET website http://ktet.kerala.gov.in/.Don't forget to download and save the final printout of your completed application form by April 26th.
KTET 2024: Paper Categories
KTET is conducted for four categories catering to different teaching levels:

• Category I: Lower Primary (Classes 1 to 5)
• Category II: Upper Primary (Classes 6 to 8)
• Category III: High School (Classes 9 and 10) with various subject specializations
• Category IV: High School (Classes 9 and 10) for Sanskrit teachers

KTET 2024: Exam Pattern
The KTET exam format is generally consistent across categories. Each exam typically consists of two parts:
• Part I: Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory for all categories)

• Part II: Subject-specific knowledge (varies depending on the chosen category)

KTET 2024 Notification Released: How to Apply
Step 1: Head over to the KTET website http://ktet.kerala.gov.in/ during the application window (April 17th - 26th, 2024).
Step 2: Click on the "New Registration" link and meticulously fill out the online application form, providing accurate details about your academic qualifications, experience (if any), and other relevant information.
Step 3: Ensure you upload scanned copies of all necessary documents as mandated by the notification. These may include educational certificates, mark sheets, identification proof, and category certificates (if applicable).
Step 4: Pay the requisite application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking facility.
Step 5: Carefully review your application form for any errors or omissions. Once everything is accurate, submit the application electronically.
Step 6: Don't forget to download and print a copy of the final application form with the system-generated registration ID for your records.
