Skyscanner has launched the Drops feature in its app, helping users find flights with significant price reductions. Available in Hindi and English, Drops highlights flights with at least a 20% price drop over the past week, enabling travelers to discover savings on their 2025 trips.

The global travel app, Skyscanner has announced the launch of a new app-exclusive feature called Drops. The feature is available for users in Hindi and English and is designed to help travellers find best flight deals for their 2025 trips. The company claims that the travellers can discover flights that have seen price drops of over 20% compared to their lowest point in the last 7 days with this latest feature.
How to use the Drops feature
By logging in to the Skyscanner app, travellers will automatically have access to new DROPS every day – a collection of flights from a nearby airport that have dropped in price by at least 20% or more, compared to the flight’s lowest price point in the last 7 days.
To celebrate the launch, Skyscanner has shared some key insights from January 2025:

Friday emerged as the most popular day for DROPS, allowing Indian travellers to start their weekends with savings.
38% of all DROPS were published before 9:00 AM, proving that early birds indeed catch the most deals.
Goa topped the list of domestic destinations with the most DROPS, followed by Bangkok internationally.
