Ben Stiller recently shared a post on X, asking Tim Cook about the third season of Severance. Stiller, who serves as the director and executive producer of the hit Apple TV+ series, wrote in the post: “So some fans are asking for Season 3 of Severance. What do you say, @tim_cook?”. To this, the Apple CEO replied “Season 3 of Severance is available upon request. - Tim C,” confirming the renewal of the series for a third season on Apple TV+, where the series streams exclusively. The post is accompanied by a teaser video of the season 3 of Severance.

Severance, created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller, has gained critical acclaim since its 2022 debut on Apple TV+. Severance Season 3 to release sooner

Although the exact release date remains uncertain, the creators have promised fans that the wait won’t stretch to another three years. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Erickson said “I would love to finish the show before I'm 70," Erickson joked. "I would hope that season three comes sooner.”
“It is always been a show that we're always very careful,” he said. “That was the case on season 1 as well — actually, I think season 1 took about the same amount of time as season 2, but the difference is people weren't waiting for it at that time.”
“The idea of getting to make more 'Severance' with the greatest cast and crew on Earth is more thrilling to me than all the world's finger traps combined,” Erickson said. He added “I can't wait to continue spreading woe, frolic, dread and malice with these truly incredible people.”
