Grief is hard, so very hard.” The message, named Grieving Moms Forever, comes along with a serene forest background picture, heightening the gravity of her words.
She had earlier posted similar emotional quotes on her Instagram Stories following Sean M. Higgins' not guilty plea during a court hearing on Tuesday, January 7, 2025: "Life can be difficult at times. Some days are really difficult, and sometimes the only way to get through them is to cry. USHL commemorates the Gaudreau brothers with the newly developed Gaudreau Award
Jane Gaudreau also gave credit to Glenn Hefferan and the United States Hockey League (USHL) for establishing the Gaudreau Award as a memorial to her late sons. In one of her previous posts on Instagram, she shared that she and her husband, Guy Gaudreau, were blessed to surprise the year's very first winner, Ethan Wyttenbach, in Sioux Falls.
“A special thank you to Glenn Hefferan and the USHL for establishing the award to honor John & Matty Gaudreau. Guy and I were incredibly honored to be invited to Sioux Falls to surprise Ethan Wyttenbach and let him know he was the winner of the Gaudreau Award,” she captioned the post.
