"I wish I realized earlier": Travis Hunter opens up about life lessons and moving forward after fiancée Leanna Lenee was accused of having "wrong intentions"

Travis Hunter, the latest Heisman Trophy winner, has had a pretty rough time in the last few months as he and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, got heavily trolled by fans due to their relationship. The drama all started when Travis Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy, and things went all downhill from there. Recently, Travis Hunter opened up about his mistakes and the precautions he is currently taking now.


In late January, on an episode of The Travis Hunter Show, the latest Heisman Trophy winner answered some fan queries as he opened up about how he has been navigating through life with his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, after all that the couple went through.
One of Travis Hunter’s fans had sent in a question for him where he was asked about what would be the one thing that he wished he had realised earlier in his life.
Travis Hunter said, “Don’t get on social media to go off off… That’s why I dumbed down what I show people now. I don’t be on social media as much. It’s bettered me. I live life happy.”
Travis Hunter added, “I walk around the house happy not having social media, watching YouTube, on the phone with my friends, playing a game with my friends, just having fun. I just got a different type of joy in me now, not having that stress.”
He continued, “That would probably be [what] I wish I realized earlier so it didn’t get to this point where I don’t gotta be on the apps.”

Back in December, Travis Hunter and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, were in the eye of the storm as the couple got brutally trolled everyday. Both of them defended their relationship with public statements but their haters were not interested in that and continued trolling them.

This led to Travis Hunter and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, taking extreme steps to protect themselves. Leanna Lenee was forced to make her Instagram account private while Travis Hunter deactivated his Instagram account for a few days.
However, Travis Hunter's social media account was active again a few days later, after taking a break from it. Since then, the couple has mostly stayed away from the public eye and kept themselves away from any controversy.
Travis Hunter and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, also used to work on a YouTube channel together where they would post updates about their wedding plans but the two even paused that.
