"I got a new security guard": Travis Hunter opens up about hiring security after trolls targeted his fiancée Leanna Lenee

Travis Hunter, one of the top picks for the NFL Draft, is on his way to starting off a successful career in the NFL. But the Heisman Trophy winner had to go through a lot of difficult days in the last few months as haters attacked his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, online and accused her of being a “gold digger”. Recently, Travis Hunter opened up about it and the things he did to keep him and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, away from the haters.


In late January, on an episode of The Travis Hunter Show, Travis Hunter spoke about the repercussions of the hate that he has received for his relationship. He said, “All the haters are messing up for my supporters. I rarely take pictures now because you don’t know what they’re going to do with it…”
Travis Hunter added, “People are weird. People scare me because you never know who’s got good intentions and it can always go left at any moment.”
Travis Hunter also revealed that he now has a new bodyguard so that he can stay safe. He added, “But it’s all good because I got Frank the tank. I got a new security guard, y’all will get to meet him soon. His name is Frank, Frankenstein.”
Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, has not opened up to the media since the whole controversy forced her to delete her account on Instagram. She did try defending herself once when she posted a video message on TikTok but that too was met with a lot of criticism and hate.
At one point, Travis Hunter and his fiancee had a very public life. They had their joint YouTube channel called, “Travis and Leanna” where they would post about their daily lives.


In August 2024, Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee even revealed their wedding plans as they went shopping for her wedding dress. The two have also been public about the expensive gifts that they bought for each other.
While Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, has been getting trolled for a long time, it was in December 2024 that things went out of control.
Videos of her went viral when fans assumed that she was not excited as Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy since she stood up after everyone had already stood up. A few days later, a resurfaced video of Leanna Lenee went viral where she was “dancing inappropriately” with an unknown man.
While Travis Hunter did defend his relationship many times, fans were convinced she is attracted to his wealth.
There have been no statements from Leanna Lenee since then and now the couple likes to stay away from the spotlight.
