The heated challenge has reignited tensions between the Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen, bringing their past conflict into the spotlight with fans and analysts waiting for Dana White’s response.

The history of the grudge began in August 2024, when UFC middleweight fighters Vettori and Allen were involved in a physical altercation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, after a PFL event. Reports suggest that Vettori, already agitated following an earlier verbal spat with fellow UFC fighter Tuco Tokkos, tried to land punches at him but missed and that is when Allan stepped in, escalating the situation, leading to a confrontation during which Allen landed punches on Vettori causing him to stumble into a roulette table.

Video footage of the scuffle made its rounds online showing Allen charging at Vettori with security guards trying to restrain the fighters while they continued to exchange words.
No confirmed official statement has been released regarding a scheduled fight between Vettori and Allen, however, considering Dana White’s track record of leveraging genuine rivalries, there is a strong possibility of this fight happening in the future which has left the MMA community speculating about the potential matchup. With Vettori’s career at a crossroads and Allen’s rise in the division, a fight between the two can carry significant implications for the middleweight rankings.
