Yankees star Aaron Judge earns comparison with Stephen Curry from manager Aaron Boone
Yankees star Aaron Judge needs no introduction when it comes to home run records in the world of major league baseball. With Aaron Judge in his best form, the noteworthy contributions made by the New York Yankees captain has become the talk of the town. Recently, Yankees manager Aaron Boone expressed being impressed by the 2024 MVP’s performance and took things on another level as he went on to compare him with one of the biggest stars of the NBA, Stephen Curry.
Recently, Judge went on to hit his 10th home run of the 2025 MLB season during a face-off against the Baltimore Orioles. During a recent interview with the MLB’s Yankees beat writer, Bryan Hoch, Boone said-
“He's like a great three-point shooter at the plate right now. It's remarkable. I always say we're running out of superlatives or things to say about it. He's playing a different game.”Aaron Judge is already leading the list of home runs till now during the ongoing MLB season. His dominance with the bat speaks volumes when the Yankees fans get excited about his home runs. Despite the comparison, Boone even expressed his disappointment over their loss against the Orioles recently. During the post-game press conference, the Yankees manager said-
“I think he's continued to become a better hitter, and I say this, I'm not being cute or funny. Honestly, I don't think he's really been that hot yet. He's getting his hits and I think it's a credit to just how great he is, but when he gets going, he starts hitting balls in the seat routinely, then, you know, buckle up.”He further mentioned-
“So he's every year, he just he's always wanting to know how I can get a little bit better and and I think he's just a more well-rounded hitter. Which probably makes him more viable when you go through those inevitable walls, even for him.”Back in 2024, the New York Yankees lost the title to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but looking at the current form of Aaron Judge and the entire team, it is quite evident that the Yankees are ready to claim the 2025 World Series Title under their name.
