How to easily get Dil Bits in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2 has introduced a brand-new currency into the game – Dill Bits, and players across the globe are scrambling to get their hands on these powerful little tokens. Unlike Gold Bars, Dill Bits offer access to exclusive Mythic and Legendary weapons, Boons, and more - but collecting them isn’t as easy as it sounds. Here’s how players can efficiently collect and use Dill Bits in Fortnite.


Dill Bits are primarily stored inside vaults scattered around the Fortnite island. These vaults can be found in high-risk, high-reward areas such as:
In addition to static vaults, moving armored trains and transport trucks also carry Dill Bits. These mobile vaults are harder to crack but offer a safer route due to fewer players converging on them early in the game.
To access these vaults, players must use Thermite, a rare item found in floor loot, chests, or purchasable at Black Markets for 50 Gold Bars. Place Thermite on the vault door and wait for it to burn through, speeding up the process by attacking the weak spot helps. Once the vault opens, Dill Bits are up for grabs.


Once acquired, Dill Bits can be spent at Black Market locations on the map. Each Black Market offers different weapons and Boons. For example:
Magic Mosses
Crime City
Masked Meadows/Seaport City
Dill Bits do not carry over between matches. Spend them wisely before the match ends.
