"Lucknow Super Giants have showcased remarkable performances in previous seasons. This team represents dedication, discipline, and the true spirit of the game. I am hopeful that this season, too, the players will demonstrate their skills and make the state proud," the Chief Minister said.
The meeting included key players Rishabh Pant, Aryan Juyal, Himmat Singh, Abdul Samad, along with coaches and management officials.

LSG will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at the ACAVDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
The team reached playoffs in IPL 2022 and 2023 but was eliminated in the qualifier rounds. They finished seventh in the points table during IPL 2024.

Pant made history as the most expensive IPL player when LSG secured him for Rs 27 crore at the mega auction last year.
He becomes LSG's fourth captain after KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran, and Krunal Pandya.
This marks Pant's second IPL captaincy role, having previously led Delhi Capitals from 2021 to 2024. He missed the 2023 season while recovering from injuries sustained in a December 2022 car accident.
