The attack, which resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, has been widely condemned by the film fraternity, with actors offering condolences and calling for peace and justice.

Cinema stars including Chiranjeevi, Nani, Allu Arjun and others expressed grief and outrage over the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The massacre, which took place on April 22 at the Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam, saw militants from The Resistance Front (TRF) open fire on a group of tourists, resulting in at least 28 deaths and more than 20 injuries.
Megastar Chiranjeevi voiced his heartbreak on X (formerly Twitter), calling the attack horrifying and extending his condolences to the families of the victims. He wrote, "The ghastly attack killing 26 innocent people and tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir is horrifying and heartbreaking. It is an unpardonable act of cruelty. My heart goes out to the families of those killed. Nothing can undo the loss they suffered. My condolences and prayers for them."

Jr NTR also took to social media to share his sorrow, stating that his heart goes out to the victims and their families, and he prayed for peace and justice. Allu Arjun shared similar sentiments, describing the attack as truly heartbreaking and lamenting the violence in a place known for its beauty and kind-hearted people. He offered condolences to the families and wished peace for the innocent souls lost.

Taking to her Instagram story Rashmika Mandanna shared a snippet of the news, and wrote, "It breaks my heart."

Ram Charan called for strong condemnation of such violence, insisting that incidents like these have no place in society. On X, he wrote, "Shocked and saddened by the terror attack in Pahalgam. Such incidents have no place in our society and should be strongly condemned. My prayers are with the families of those affected."

'HIT 3' actor Nani wrote, "Three months back we were there. Over 200 people team for almost 20 days. Pahalgam Was like a dream. The place, the people and the warmth. Heart broken and speechless. Why ?"


Varun Tej wrote, "Deeply shocked by the tragic attack on tourists in Pahalgam. My heartfelt condolences go out to the victims and their families. In these difficult times, let us stand together in solidarity and uphold our shared humanity".
