Allu Arjun begins a look test and concept shoot for Atlee's next; the actor to ditch the 'Pushpa' look
After the massive success of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' Allu Arjun is teaming up with blockbuster director Atlee, who is known for delivering hits like Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan.' This upcoming film is tentatively titled 'AA22XA6,' and as per the latest reports, the makers have kicked off an official look test and concept shoot in Mumbai.
According to a report by Mid-Day, the project has officially kicked off at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, where the makers are conducting a look test and concept photoshoot. During the session, Allu Arjun experimented with multiple looks for his character, ranging from rugged to sleek styles, as the filmmakers aim to present him in a fresh avatar, distinct from his iconic 'Pushpa' image.
The report further suggests that the actor was very hands-on during this process, showing his commitment to shaping the character. Interestingly, children around 12 years old were also involved in the look test, hinting at an important element in the film’s story.

The production house backing the film announced the project on Allu Arjun’s birthday earlier this month, calling it a "landmark cinematic event." The film looks to be a grand spectacle with a massive Rs 200 crore allocated for production and a whopping Rs 250 crore set aside for cutting-edge visual effects. Hollywood VFX studios with experience in major franchises like 'Spider-Man' and 'Iron Man' have been brought on board for the film's global ambitions and high technical standards.
The film is expected to be one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema, with a staggering budget of around Rs 800 crore.
Allu Arjun, as per a Pinkvilla report, has reportedly signed a record-breaking deal worth Rs 175 crore, making him the highest-paid actor in India currently. He will also receive 15% of the film's profits, while Atlee is set to earn Rs 100 crore for directing his sixth film.
