Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja calls family feud with Krushna Abhishek 'toxic': 'I will not lie...I always try to..'
Krushna Abhishek had a feud with his 'mama' Govinda and his family where they did not speak to each other for seven years. Things finally seemed to have started to sort when Govinda attended Krushna's sister Aarti Singh's wedding. Later, this year, when Govinda accidently shot himself and was admitted to the hospital, Krushna's wife Kashmera Shah visited him at the hospital. Krushna was away shooting abroad that time. Their feud finally ended as Govinda and Krushna Abhishek re-united again on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'.
In the earlier episodes, every time when Govinda and his wife were invited, Krushna was not present on the show. This time around, their re-union was a treat for fans. Now in a recent interview, Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja has opened up on this matter. She said during a chat with Bollywood Bubble, "It is kind of toxic. I will not lie and I have said this to Arti (Singh) as well. I will always try to keep myself away from it. To be very honest, I am very happy in my life. I don’t speak about all these things. I think it’s past now and I don’t want to talk about it again and again. This is not needed. Things are good, decent, respectful."
Govinda's wife Sunita did not appear on the show and still seems upset with Krushna and his family. She has not even commented on this re-union. Meanwhile, Govinda spoke about the feud when he appeared on the show. Govinda was upset when on the same show, Krushna had made some funny comments about his uncle. The 'Hero No 1' actor said, "It was a very funny incident that caused our fight, and now I am telling the truth. One day, I was really angry and asked, 'Who writes these dialogues?' My wife Sunita said, 'This is what the whole film industry does. Don't say anything about Krushna. He's earning money, let him do his work. Don't stop anyone or say anything wrong.' The kids couldn’t understand and that led to the fight. I want to say that you should apologise to him, as he loves everyone."
According to reports, Krushna took the first step towards reconciling with the actor when he visited him in the hospital to check up on him following his accidental shooting. In October, Govinda was hospitalised for a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Tina Ahuja, the daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Govinda, is an Indian actress who made her film debut in Second Hand Husband (2015), a romantic comedy directed by Smeep Kang. Starring alongside Gippy Grewal, she showcased her acting talent in the light-hearted entertainer. While Tina hasn't appeared in many mainstream films since her debut, she has explored independent projects and music videos, including Litten (2021), a popular Punjabi song featuring Amaal Malik and Kanika Kapoor.
