The board conducted the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across multiple exam centres in Uttar Pradesh. This year, around 26.98 lakh students appeared for Class 10, while 27.40 lakh students sat for Class 12. The evaluation process commenced on March 17, with nearly 3 crore answer sheets reviewed under stringent protocols to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Recently, misinformation spread on social media claiming that the results would be released on April 15 at 2 PM. In response, UPMSP issued a public clarification, calling the rumours false and misleading. The board emphasized that the official result date and time will only be announced via authorised platforms and urged students not to rely on unverified sources.
To access their results, students will need to enter their roll number and school code on the official portals. Additionally, results can be obtained via SMS by sending “UP10Roll Number” or “UP12Roll Number” to 56263. The board will also publish topper lists, pass percentages, and other key statistics during a press conference in Prayagraj.
Students who are not satisfied with their scores will have the opportunity to apply for revaluation, with a fee of INR 500 per subject. The application window will open shortly after the result declaration, and the revised scores will be made available online. Moreover, students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams, tentatively scheduled for July 2025.
Last year, the results were announced on April 20, with an overall pass percentage of 89.55% for Class 10 and 82.60% for Class 12. Students are advised to follow The Times of India blog for the latest announcements and avoid falling prey to speculation.
