The CISCE board has confirmed that students can access their results using their Unique ID, Index Number, and Date of Birth. The result login window will be activated once the board makes the official announcement. Students will also be able to view their digital mark sheets through DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in. Schools, meanwhile, can download institution-wise results from the CISCE CAREERS portal using principal credentials.
This year, the ICSE Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 21 to March 28, while the ISC Class 12 board exams spanned from February 12 to April 3. The council has completed the evaluation process and is set to release the results ahead of last year’s schedule. In 2024, the board had declared the ICSE and ISC results on May 13.
Students who are unsatisfied with their marks will have the option to apply for rechecking of answer scripts from April 30 to May 4 through the CISCE Services portal. If discrepancies persist even after rechecking, candidates can request a re-evaluation. The re-evaluation window will remain open for three days following the declaration of recheck results.
CISCE has also provided a pathway for students aiming to improve their performance. Candidates will be allowed to appear for improvement exams in up to two subjects in July 2025. The official timetable for the improvement exams will be released on cisce.org in the coming weeks.
To pass the ICSE Class 10 examination, students must secure a minimum of 33% in each subject and overall. For the ISC Class 12 examination, the pass mark is 40%. Students who fail to meet the qualifying criteria may opt for improvement exams or repeat the academic year, as per board policy.
With today’s declaration, CISCE becomes one of the first national boards to release its Class 10 and Class 12 results in 2025. The timing is expected to benefit students applying for undergraduate admissions in India and abroad, as many institutions align their cut-off processes with central board timelines.
