Girls outperform boys once again
Continuing the trend of recent years, girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 84.09%, compared to 78.31% for boys. Among the 3,01,202 girls who appeared, 2,53,278 passed, while 2,45,307 out of 3,13,257 boys cleared the exam. This marks a 5.78% performance gap in favour of girls.
Subject-wise and medium-wise analysis
Among subjects, Second Language recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.51%, followed by Social Studies (92.90%) and General Science (90.17%). In terms of medium of instruction, English-medium students achieved an 83.19% pass rate, while Telugu-medium students registered 58.59%. Notably, 19 schools recorded a 0% pass rate, while 1,680 schools achieved 100% results.
District and school performance
Parvathipuram Manyam district led with the highest pass rate of 93.90%, while Alluri Sitharama Raju district had the lowest at 47.64%. Andhra Pradesh Residential Schools reported the best institutional performance with a 95.02% pass rate.
Reverification and supplementary exam details
Students wishing to apply for recounting or reverification can do so from April 24 to May 1, exclusively via the official website. The Advanced Supplementary Examinations will be held from May 19 to May 28, with fee payment windows from April 24 to May 18 (a late fee of ₹50 applies after April 30).
Result access and certificates
Results are available on www.results.bse.ap.gov.in, as well as via WhatsApp (Mana Mitra) and the LEAP mobile app. Migration certificates and subject-wise mark memos will be available online within four days. Original SSC pass certificates will be dispatched to schools in due course.
Multiple platforms to access the results
In addition to the official BSEAP website, students may check their Class 10 results through the TOI Portal’s education page. However, to do so, registration is required. An alternative way to receive the result is via WhatsApp by sending “Hi” to 9552300009, selecting the Education Services option, and entering the hall ticket number to receive a PDF of the scorecard. Results will also be available through the LEAP App, providing students with multiple channels for result retrieval.
For those unable to secure passing marks in one or more subjects, the board has made arrangements for compartment examinations. To pass, students are required to score a minimum of 30% in each subject. Original marksheets will be distributed to students at their respective schools following the online declaration. Further updates regarding revaluation and supplementary examination schedules are expected to be shared shortly after the result announcement.
