Pullela Gopichand

Pullela Gopichand is a former Indian badminton player and the chief national coach of the Indian badminton team. He won the All England Open Championship in 2001, becoming only the second Indian to achieve this feat.


Gopichand has received several national honours, including the Arjuna Award (2000), Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna (2001), Padma Shri (2005), Dronacharya Award (2009), and Padma Bhushan (2015).
