Popular actor Lee Jung-jae is set to make a brief but special appearance in the upcoming film ‘Revolver.’ This exciting news was revealed by insiders in the movie industry on November 23rd. Directed by Oh Seung-wook, ‘Revolver’ follows the story of Sooyeong (played by Jeon Do-yeon), a former police officer who served time in prison for righting wrongs and now begins on a singular mission upon her release.
The movie has a talented cast, including Jeon Do-yeon, Ji Chang-wook, and Lim Ji-yeon. Lee Jung-jae's cameo is expected to bring an extra layer of support to the film, and it holds special significance as it marks a collaboration with Sanai Pictures, a production company with strong ties to the actor. Notably, this film serves as a reunion for Lee Jung-jae and Jeon Do-yeon, who previously worked together in ‘The Housemaid,’ as well as with Lim Ji-yeon, who is also part of Artist Company. Despite his busy schedule, Lee Jung-jae readily agreed to the cameo appearance.
Although Lee Jung-jae's screen time is brief, his presence is expected to leave a lasting impression. ‘Revolver’ completed filming in June, with Lee Jung-jae wrapping up his scenes early. This year-end has been particularly busy for the actor, as he recently participated in the GV (Gathering Viewers) event for his close friend Jung Woo-sung's movie ‘12.12: The Day,’ showcasing their strong friendship. Additionally, he is prepping up for the much-awaited filming of Netflix's ‘Squid Game Season 2.’
