'The Tale of Lady Ok' remains the go-to destination for dramatic, intense stories as Goo Deok, played by Lim Ji Yeon, finds herself between two men: both Choo Young Woo.
The series is about the precarious journey of Goo Deok, a runaway slave who adopts the false identity of Lady Ok Tae Young to escape her past. She gets entangled with Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), a man willing to risk everything for her, and Sung Yoon Gyeom (also Choo Young Woo), whose uncanny resemblance to Seung Hwi leaves even Goo Deok baffled.
In the last episode, Goo Deok's life took an exciting turn when Sung Yoon Gyeom, under her charm, proposed for marriage. And added this level of her plight: If she will eventually end up with Yoon Gyeom, it would even make it more difficult to hide the fact that she was actually a runaway slave. So that, like Goo Deok who had promised herself that she would share it to him, she would suddenly find her former mistress appear and would give another level of suspicion that she must have found out what really she was. Meanwhile, newly dropped stills hint at a shocking comeback by Cheon Seung Hwi: the plot thickens some more. Accepting Goo Deok's refusal, Seung Hwi must now decide if he is out to rescue her or not.
With Goo Deok torn between two strikingly similar yet profoundly different men, the stakes are higher than ever. Will she choose the devoted Cheon Seung Hwi, or will Sung Yoon Gyeom’s affection sway her heart?
