Ahead of BTS star V's birthday 'Squid Game' actor Lee Jung Jae shares a cool selfie

Korean superstars Lee Jung Jae and BTS' V left fans pleasantly surprised when they posed for a selfie together.
Lee Jung Jae, who has become a global icon following the success of his hit show 'Squid Game', took to his relatively new Instagram handle to share a selfie with V. The actor posted the photo that saw them twinning in pastel shades as they posed for a selfie.
Since creating his Instagram handle, Lee Jung Jae has been sharing pictures with his celebrity friends including Leonardo DiCaprio, Elle Fanning, Eva Chow, and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie.

This photo comes just days ahead of V's birthday on December 30. The hunk's Chinese fan club is going all out to make the singer's birthday a special one, by featuring the star on the world's tallest building - Burj Khalifa - for the second consecutive year.

"On 29th Dec, 8:10 PM UAE, Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world will light up again for the 2nd time to celebrate BTS V’s 27th Birthday," read an official announcement.
V and his bandmates have been on an all-time high with the release of their hit track 'Butter'. The band won Song of the Year at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards and has also secured their second nomination at the Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Lee Jung Jae, on the other hand, has become the first Korean actor to be nominated at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, a Critics’ Choice Award, and a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actor category for his performance in 'Squid Game'. According to the latest buzz, the show may just be the first non-English show to take home the top honours at the upcoming awards season next year.
